Flavor violation on the rare decays of the top quark on the Bestest Little Higgs model
Main Article Content
Abstract
We analyze the effect of flavor violation on the rare decays of the top quark to a one-loop through the Bestest Little Higgs (BLH) model, for which we include a new mixing term. We calculate the processes t→q_i V and t→q_i h^0, where q_i=u, c are light quarks and V_i=Z, gamma, g, h^0, are Standard Model (SM) bosons. These processes are mediated by the heavy bosons W'^(+-), H^(+-), phi^(+-) and the heavy bottom of the BLH. We found that the branching ratios (Br) have a higher sensitivity than their peers in the EM except for the gluon. Our best results are Br(t→c Z)~10^(-5), Br(t→c gamma)~10^(-6) and Br(t→c h^0)~10^(-8), which provides hints of new physics.
