In this work, we present the results obtained through numerical simulaKon as well as structural tests through extensometry for a 2400 W double root wind turbine blade based on the IEC 61400-2 standard, under normal operaKng loads. A methodology was developed to carry out the experimentaKon and the importance of numerical simulaKon as a vital tool prior to carrying out the experimental plan is shown.
