Burnout assessment from a gender perspective: development of a digital platform with statistical analysis and artificial intelligence
Main Article Content
Abstract
Burnout, recognized by the World Health Organization as a syndrome associated with chronic occupational stress, varies by gender. This study analyzed 86 workers from a rehabilitation center in Veracruz, Mexico, using the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI-HSS) and the AnalytIQ Surveys platform, specifically designed for this research. The results show that women experience higher emotional exhaustion, while men report greater depersonalization and a higher sense of personal accomplishment. Additionally, a negative correlation was found between gender and perceived work energy, indicating that women experience greater fatigue. These findings highlight the need for gender-focused organizational strategies aimed at balancing workload distribution and strengthening psychological support.
