Hydraulic evaluation of the drinking water network of San Martín Sabinillo, Oaxaca

The town of San Martín Sabinillo, municipality of San Miguel Tlacotepec, Oaxaca is located in the Mixteca mountain, the population is of the Mixteca ethnic group. The Mexican Institute of Water Technology carried out an analysis of the existing drinking water network in order to efficiently/improve the service of the population, through a hydraulic model evaluated in the EPANET program, service improvement proposals were made for 14 pressure reducing valves and 16 isolation valves with their respective boxes; in addition to the replacement of the main well suction pipe giving an amount of $746,638 pesos with IVA.
