An economic study of photovoltaic cells to be implemented in distributed generation
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article points out the economic study of the variables with the greatest impact on photovoltaic panels, to cover a specific energy demand in an industrial sector. Through the compilation of electrical - thermal data of 26 silicon solar cells (monocrystalline - polycrystalline), and the data of the input variable; the cost of investment, maintenance, distribution, connection, generation, and impact of environmental variables for each of the systems was determined providing the best cost-benefit based on its variables. It was obtained that the M3 panel (monocrystalline) is the one that generates the greatest savings in 25 years (useful life) and the variables with the greatest impact on the objective function are those related to the environment sector.
