Abstract

The results of the floristic inventory carried out in the Cerro de Comburinda Voluntary Conservation Area are presented, with an approximate area of 983.103 ha, where human activities are causing notable deterioration in biological diversity. The list consists of 75 families, 169 genera and 221 species with 5 infraspecific taxa. Eudicots are dominant. The most diverse family is Asteraceae and the genera Salvia and Solanum are the best represented. Coniferous forest, oak forest and mountain cloud forest were the identified vegetation types. There are four species at risk according to NOM-059-SEMARNAT-2010. This study will be a useful tool for actions of recovery, conservation and management of the place.
