In this work, the numerical solution of the two-dimensional laminar flow problem in a cavity with a moving upper boundary is presented. Using GiD Simulation software, preprocessing and post-processing of the numerical simulations are carried out, allowing for the establishment of geometry and analysis of the results. Additionally, Kratos Multiphysics software is employed for processing the problem using finite elements. The results demonstrate GiD’s efficiency as a tool for solving flow problems, and the integration with Kratos Multiphysics provides a reliable solution.
